DESCRIPTION:During this two-day introduction to weaving\, taught by residen
 t weaver Sharon Grist\, students will learn the mechanics of floor looms\,
  the process of making a warp\, how to properly thread heddles and reeds\,
  dressing the loom\, winding a proper bobbin\, hem-stitching the fabric\, 
 and more! Students will weave a twill sampler runner on which they will ex
 plore numerous treadling variations on one basic threading sequence. No ex
 perience is necessary. \n\n\n\nClass fee includes two days of instruction 
 (9:30 am – 4:00 pm each day)\, use of studio equipment\, all weaving mater
 ials\, and instructional hand-outs. Be sure to bring your lunch each day!
