DESCRIPTION:Cuttlefish casting is a quick and fairly accurate casting metho
 d. Its applications are limited only by the thickness and overall dimensio
 ns of the available shells. It is difficult to achieve fine details on the
  surface of the casting\, but this is offset by the richly complex texture
  that is a natural by-product of this method. \nThe back plate or cuttlebo
 ne of the ordinary squid (genus: sepia) serves as the mold material. \nThe
  process of preparing a one or two-part mold will be learned by using a ri
 ng as an example. \nIn this class we will be making our own silver alloy c
 alled Shibuichi which is a blend of silver and copper. \nWe will also be l
 earning and applying all the skills covered in our silver band ring class\
