DESCRIPTION:Foxfire Heritage Days is back June 5 and 6 for its 18th year! \
 n\n\n\nFourteen blacksmiths at the forge. Black powder rifle history. Pott
 ery on the wheel. Butter in the churn. Woodstove cooking\, canning\, weavi
 ng\, flint knapping\, basketry\, small engines\, music\, children’s activi
 ties\, and barbecue from Blue Hound Barbecue.  \n\n\n\nWhat makes Heritage
  Days special is where it happens! The demonstrations aren’t in booths\; t
 hey’re spread throughout our historic village\, inside and around the cabi
 ns\, porches\, and grounds. Families can wander the village\, hear the for
 ge\, smell what’s cooking\, and see what daily work looked like when these
  skills were still part of everyday life. \n\n\n\nFor two days\, demonstra
 tors will share the skills\, stories\, and hands-on Appalachian traditions
  that have shaped life for generations. Families can also visit the Childr
 en’s Village\, where kids can make something\, try activities\, ask questi

 ut onto the heritage trail\, where demonstrations\, children’s activities\
 , and more than 20 historic buildings will be open throughout the village.
