DESCRIPTION:In this exciting class led by Georgann Lanich\, you will explor
 e 3 different pottery methods that were used by many cultures before the i
 nvention of the pottery wheel. Each of these methods stand alone\, but can
  be combined for different creative results. You will have the chance to c
 reate more than one type of piece.  This is a great way to enjoy clay for 
 all levels of interest. \n\n\n\nPlease note that this is a two day experie
 nce!  You should plan to attend both days for the full time provided in or
 der to complete your one-of-a-kind projects.  This class is offered once a
  month to help with ease of scheduling.  All classes are subject to a mini
 mum number of registrations in order to hold the date.  This class is for 
 participants 14 years or older\, and our class size is capped at 5 people 
 to ensure everyone has one-on-one attention from the instructor for a fant
 astic pottery experience! Please make other arrangements for furry family 
 members for the day\, but bring water and snacks if you like. \n\n\n\nAdmi
 ssion to the class also includes admission for one to tour the Foxfire Mus
 eum on both the Pottery Building and Glazing Days.  You don’t want to miss
  the full experience! \n\n\n\nWe’ll work with plants and leaves to imprint
  clay\, creating simple\, functional forms inspired by nature. \n\n\n\nWed
 nesday\, August 12 Glazing August 19\, 11 am-12 pm \n\n\n\nWe love pets bu
 t not for classes so unfortunately no pets.
