Design with Intention: Color, Shape & Soul in Jewelry Making

Online / Virtual Online / virtual

Tuesday, June 23 ~ 7:00pm-8:00pm EST Join us for a presentation and Q&A exploring the art and soul of jewelry design. Drawing from her book The Art of Bead Stringing: Artist to Entrepreneur, Elaine Robnett Moore invites you on a creative journey to awaken your unique artistic voice and transform simple materials into meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces. In this engaging talk and demonstration, you’ll discover how to begin designing with intention. Learn how color, shape, texture, and size work together to create harmony, contrast, and visual storytelling in your jewelry. Through real examples and hands-on insights, you’ll see how each design element carries its own value and how recognizing that value can elevate your work from craft to art. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced maker, this session will help you deepen your creative confidence, trust your instincts, and design pieces that truly reflect your individuality. Cost: $25 This demonstration will be conducted live as a Zoom Meeting. Participants will have video and audio access so they can ask questions and interact during the live demonstration. Participants will receive an email from Peters Valley at least 48 hours prior that includes a link and a password. Only registered participants will be admitted. Peters Valley records online programs and shares them with registered participants as a non-downloadable link for one month following the live event.
