Intermediate Coin Rings - sweat soldering

In this class we will explore some intermediate soldering and techniques that will allow to to construct jewelry in multiple stages. We will be using multiple "hardnesses" of solder and employ either chip soldering or sweat soldering. We will also be covering the measuring, forming, and sizing of coin rings, using a coin punch to create circles and using a dapping tool to create domes. This class is a great class if you've already done a ring class with us and want to learn more, but for newbies, we've also included all the basic steps that we cover in the beginner classes so feel free to take this instead of our beginner coin ring class. We will be using a provided combination of state quarters and assorted foreign currency to create unique domed coin rings. Feel free to bring special coins to use, provided they are deemed suitable by the instructor. Ages 16+ Price: $100
